About Montessori Episcopal School
Our Montessori Episcopal School is the only Christian Montessori school in Denton County.
We have been serving Lewisville, Flower Mound, and Highland Village toddlers through kindergartners for over 50 years.

Celebrating over 50 year of educating young minds, MES is an outreach of The Episcopal Church of The Annunciation, located in Lewisville, Texas. Founded in 1969, MES serves as the area’s leader in Christian Montessori education.
Our Vision
MES incorporates the traditions of the Episcopal Church and Montessori philosophy. It is committed to respecting the worth of every person, celebrating the rich complexity of community, and embracing the value of persistent hope and principled conviction.
Our Goal
It is our goal as a Christian community to nurture students in academics, independence, creativity, service to others, critical thinking, leadership, Christian values and a love of learning.
Meet Our Staff
Montessori Episcopal enjoys long-term teacher tenure.
The Montessori Episcopal staff consists of our Head of School, five Lead Teachers, and five Associate Teachers with experience in the Montessori Method and early childhood education and care.

Our Programs
Montessori Episcopal has three dedicated programs.
We provide three main educational programs with six to eighteen children each aged nine months to six years of age.
Our Montessori Episcopal School programs utilize the Montessori Method, an approach to education that embraces each child’s natural desire to learn and honors the need for independence and self-sufficiency. We believe children learn best in a hands-on, concrete manner using all of their senses. The teacher, as a guide, constantly presents new areas of discovery in a sequential, orderly fashion.
