Established in 1969!

Celebrating over 50 year of educating young minds, MES is an outreach of The Episcopal Church of The Annunciation, located in Lewisville, Texas. Founded in 1969, MES serves as the area’s leader in Christian Montessori education.

Our Vision

MES incorporates the traditions of the Episcopal Church and Montessori philosophy. It is committed to respecting the worth of every person, celebrating the rich complexity of community, and embracing the value of persistent hope and principled conviction.

Our Goal

It is our goal as a Christian community to nurture students in academics, independence, creativity, service to others, critical thinking, leadership, Christian values and a love of learning.

50+

Years

Established in 1969, we enjoy a rich 50+ year tradition in the heart of Lewisville and Flower Mound.

100+

Teacher Tenure

Our staff and dedicated teachers have a combined 100+ years of tenure with Montessori Episcopal!

Meet Our Staff

Montessori Episcopal enjoys long-term teacher tenure.

The Montessori Episcopal staff consists of our Head of School, five Lead Teachers, and five Associate Teachers with experience in the Montessori Method and early childhood education and care.

Our Teachers

When the world is your classroom, the potential for improvement is everywhere.

One reason students stay with us for years and MES alumni return with their own children is our amazing teachers!

We are unique in that we enjoy incredibly long teacher tenure, which creates a strong sense of community and continuity on which our students and families can depend.

Our Programs

Montessori Episcopal has three dedicated programs.

We provide three main educational programs with six to eighteen children each aged nine months to six years of age.

Our Montessori Episcopal School programs utilize the Montessori Method, an approach to education that embraces each child’s natural desire to learn and honors the need for independence and self-sufficiency. We believe children learn best in a hands-on, concrete manner using all of their senses. The teacher, as a guide, constantly presents new areas of discovery in a sequential, orderly fashion.

9 Months - 6 Years of Age

Montessori Episcopal School was a beautiful experience for my family. The entire staff models the love of Jesus. The school is authentic Montessori, without the classrooms packed full of children. MES understands that just because you can have 25 children in the room, it doesn’t mean you should. I was worried about someone else teaching my child religion, but they simplify Bible Stories and share them in a true Montessori fashion. My child’s teacher truly loves him and he thinks the world of her. It is worth every single penny. Sign up and sign up now!

I wish I could keep my children here forever. The school is celebrating it’s 50th year, that says a lot. I cannot say enough good things about the teachers. Every one of them is patient and kind. I was looking for a Montessori school but I found so much more!

You cannot do better than MES! The combination of a Montessori curriculum in a Christian environment creates such a wonderful, solid foundation for your children. Our daughters were blessed by their experience. We will always be grateful to MES.
